Take The Reins is an established retailer of products relating to carriage driving including harness sets both new & second hand. We stock everything you need to enjoy the sport of carriage driving whether for pleasure or a serious competitor. Our harness is fully synthetic made by Zilco & fits ponies 29 inches to horses over 16hh, donkeys are also catered for.

* Happy to visit & measure/fit harness for your equine (Visit fee applies)

* Carriage Driving Tuition now available, Joanne has recently qualified as an approved British Carridge driving Level 2 Coach by completing her 1st 4Sport Level 2 Equestrian Coaching Certificate - Carriage Driving, also has up to date BHS First Aid, BHS Safeguarding & DBS Basic Check. Speak to Joanne to discuss what you need to get involved in this great hobby. Joanne is fully insured (KBIS) to come to your location & coach/instruct you in the area of carriage driving or long reining. (Visit Fee will apply).

* Joanne has been carriage driving for over 10 years & is well known for competing in Exercise, Private Drive, Trade & Driven Dressage with her 12.2 donkey (Lady Riki). Competing at New Forest & Hampshire County Show, Hickstead, Royal Windsor Horse Show, plus numerous smaller events.
