After very careful consideration I have decided to sell my gorgeous boy. It’s a very hard decision so I ask for only serious enquirers to get in touch.

Hugo is a 16.1, 6 years old, full TB, never raced or never been in training. I have scanned him for kissing spine but have landed on the fact he never raced because he simply was too lazy. He came from Ireland last May and been with me since.

He’s the most adorable horse in the stable. My kids help me brush and do all sorts of yard duties. Ridden he needs some work. He has an incredible jump but need time to work on the flatwork. He has a great rhythm but not yet settled in the contact.

I’ve taken him cross country a few times and he loves it. I bought him to event and have full faith he will excel in this, although I’m still to compete him.

He amazing out hacking. I can take him in my trailer on my own, never had an issue.

He’s getting better with the farrier but the smoke still unsettles him slightly. We start with the hind which really helps. And some TLC (hay or treats).

It’s a very genius reason for sale. I find it very hard to justify the money and time spent away from my family. I’m sure my time will come back but for now I want a different life, and feel less guilty.

I wish I met Hugo later in life when I have more time to give him. He will only go to the very best.
