Dandy has taken my daughter from lead rein to confidently riding in all 3 paces in the school and on the forest and popping small courses.
However he really does not enjoy schooling and I feel he will be best suited to a hacking home for a child or small adult.
He is a fantastic, safe and reliable hack. Not bothered by any traffic. He is used to all things the new forest has to offer - pigs, cows, free roaming ponies and isn't bothered by crab flies. He is sure footed, goes through water, bogs and pops over logs without a fuss.
Goes first or last. Hacks alone and in company.
Can lead and be lead from another horse.
Great to catch and for the farrier. Stands all day to be groomed, fantastic to clip. Behaves impeccably at shows, loads and travels perfectly.
He is far more whoa than go.
Handled daily by children.
Heartbreaking sale but sadly outgrown.
