Do you have a pony which has no rider perhaps due to child outgrowing or lack of time but you can't bear the thought of selling?
We are looking for a pony to full loan for my 10 year old daughter due the her current pony now being 20 and stepping down from jumping but will be staying with us to take part in Pony Club Games and going to my son. We can offer a 5* experienced home at a fully equipped livery yard with no expense spared for vet/physio/farrier/saddler. I am looking to loan rather than buy as my daughter is still growing.
We are with the Hursley Pony Club and my daughter enjoys regular rallies as well as having her instructor come to our yard. Although my daughter enjoys competing at around 60/70cm, she is a competent rider and is able to jump 90cm. None of our horses are over jumped or over competed, and enjoy a relaxed a varied life. In the past 2 years my daughter has represented her pony club in the teams. Having qualified for the Mini championships for the last two years in Devon. Attends pony club camp yearly. We hunt with the New Forest Hounds.
We can provide top quality references and are open to our home being vetted. We are based in West Wellow, just off junction 2 of the M27. Excellent hacking facilities as we have the New Forest just across the road.
we are on a DIY livery yard with only 9 horses. Very quiet, tucked away no one knows it’s there. Just off the A36 off junction 2 of the M27. We have a 5 minute jack across the road to get to the New Forest. Horses are turned out individually but have ponies next to them and never left on their own. We are left to our own devises so we can do what we like - we have turnout all year round - summer and winter grazing which currently needs strip grazing as there is so much grass 🙈 we have use of a stable so if pony needs a stable during the winter/summer then they can come in. When ponies are in their summer fields we have the winter fields to ride around and like I said we can hack over to the forest. We have an outdoor school with use of jumps too. Owner lives on site as well as a lady who has her pony at the yard. We go up twice a day - AM & PM and we tend to ride after school and the arena has flood lights so can also ride through the winter. People are always going up to tend to their ponies during different times of the day so always someone to check on the ponies.
