Livery Yard Manager – Full or possibly Part-Time Opportunity
A busy, well-established livery yard with holiday accommodation is seeking an experienced and motivated Livery Yard Manager to oversee daily operations and provide exceptional care for both horses and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equine Care & Yard Management – Confidently handle a variety of horses, maintain facilities, manage the yard worming program, and oversee all standard yard duties.
- Client Support – Assist livery clients with equine care advice, ensuring excellent communication and a welcoming environment.
- Team Leadership – Supervise the livery team, coordinate tasks, and foster a collaborative and efficient workplace.
- Supplier & Administrative Liaison – Manage records, liaise with suppliers, and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Holiday Accommodation Support – Work alongside the holiday let team for guest changeovers and provide occasional customer assistance.
Ideal Candidate:
- BHS-qualified with hands-on equine experience, physically fit, and passionate about horse care.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, able to take initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commercially minded with a keen eye for managing resources efficiently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Own transport is required due to location.
