I bought Bruno as a raw three year old recently imported from Ireland, last year, underweight, small, scared, untouched, unloved.
He's turned into the sweetest horse, follows me mucking out yawning in my face asking for scratches. Sees me in the distance and waits in the closest corner of his field.
He now lunges to voice, no whip required but can be used and doesn't require confines, ie pen or poles, lunges in the big arena, stays at my asked rhythm. I wanted to break him in myself but got pregnant and been extremely ill during the last four months but he really wants a job and is bored.
I've got him used to stretchy surcingle and breast plate and started with a soft solid roller but stopped because I'm not consistent enough. He would love to work 5 days a week, but I can barely get one done now, was on four days before pregnancy. He lunges 10 to 15 minutes, always good now and loves his hot wash bath after, good with a fash wash, and stands in cross ties. He is bitted but no ear touching can occur. He'd be excellent with 4 months work or so but I doubt he'll get over the ears, so clip on browband is likely. He's also grown, I'm about 164 cm and think he's about 168cm.
He can jump too, he cleared a 5 bar gate when the tape wasn't put on top for fun. Good fencing is needed. He likes to pop a jump but we have mirrors and I'm too scared to lose jump him with them so mostly a small lunge jump.

woman who has been helping me is going to ag. college this month, so
all in all I have had to be realistic. I'd like to find Amber a home
where she can fulfill her potential. She has been well handled and is v
ery friendly and cuddly. She is halter trained, will lead and is good
for the farrier for foot trimming. I live between Petersfield and
Midhurst so she can be seen here.

We are looking for a special pony to join our family. We are an experienced home but seeking a quiet pony who enjoys hacking and is suitable for lead rein. Both my children have some special needs and we are seeking the appropriate pony. Must be about 14hh and have gentle safe ground manners. Pony must be happy to be a lead rein and to become a first ridden - although caveat this will not involve much schooling at all and will largely be going for gentle hacks.
The pony will live with our two other mares.

Lovely floaty paces currently schooling to novice and jumps with plenty of scope. Perfect manners out hunting will jump anything you put in front of him, equally happy to lead the pack or follow and go all day. Excellent to hack out alone or in company not bothered about traffic/machinery, not phased by open spaces.
Very easy to manage will live in/out, can be left on his own and not fussed at all. Perfect to shoe, clip, catch, groom, bath etc just an all round easy boy.
