No under 18’s or novices due to his age. He is a lovely boy, but still learning.
He’s stabled in Colden Common on full livery so only Riding and lots of love required.
All chores are taken care of.
Access to 2 schools, hacking is limited during the winter months, but lots of hacking available
In the summer.
He’s mainly done flat work, still struggles to pick up the correct canter lead on one rein,
but this is improving.
He has jumped previously but not with us.
He’s very much still learning, so a competent rider with patience is a must for him.
Currently ridden by my 15 year old Daughter, but she’s really struggling in the run up
to GCSE’s to find the additional time he really needs.

i have made the decision to loan rickey out as i don’t have time to ride he is to stay at current yard which has beautiful off-road hacking straight onto the new forest.
rickey is a 15hh connemara he’s good as gold and is super easy and safe, i’m looking for someone to ride him 3/4 days a week but more days can be discussed, i would like rickey to be kept to mainly hacking but for the right person there may be a opportunity to go hunting and fun rides. rickey doesn’t enjoy schooling so wouldn’t suit someone that wants to school. i have had rickey for 3 years so have lots of video and photos.

I’m very sadly having to put my lovely boy up for full or part loan,his name is Danny, he is a new forester 13.2hh and he is suitable for a novice but also a good ride for the more experienced, everyone who meets or rides him loves him 🥰 I’ve owned him since he was a foal, I love my boy to bits and I’m totally gutted that im unable to look after him like he deserves due to my own health problems.
He needs to stay at his current yard as he has been there all his life which is toothill so519ln very near north Baddesly, we have an ancient woodland to ride in right next to the Stables with small logs to jump which is a beautiful place to ride in and a paddock in with jumps available too.
My 8 year old boy used to ride him when he was about 5 but he is now obsessed with football, everyone loves riding him regardless of experience, I’m an experienced rider and he is a very versatile pony and I miss riding him so much. He is forward going but safe.
It is a small very friendly yard built during victorian times, it’s a beautiful place and very quaint.
Everyone will help everyone up there, I’ve been there 34 years Danny is my 2nd pony up there.

Winnie is 16 yrs old and a fully registered New Forest pony. Reg name is Peronne Pose. Dam Priory Bracelett and sire Peronne Palaver
She’s available for loan based at her current yard at Longdown.
Winnie is a friendly, sweet mare.
She’s stabled in Winter and comes in during the day spring and summer to keep her weight down.
The yard has a school with all facilities and direct access on to the Forest. There would be unlimited riding for you.
Winnie was backed at 11yrs and has extensively hacked on the Forest. She has done some schooling, but this is an area she’s now ready to do more with.
As a youngster, Winnie was shown in hand winning at the Breed Show and the New Forest Show. I’ve shown her in plaited classes and again, always in the ribbons. Basically, she could do so much more with the right rider.
She’s ridden in a snaffle and is forward going, but not strong. We know she can jump (she jumped a stream instead of going through it!).
The only set back at the moment, is I have another Forester and they’ve become too much of an item, so some work needs to be done to separate them. They used to separated, so I’m sure this can be overcome. Good news is they hack out together brilliantly.
I have another 25yr old rider who rides my other pony and she’s happy to help with this and ride out with you.
I’d like a capable, sensible and reliable person (under 10.5 stone), with their own rider insurance. You need to be over 18 years.

Alvin is a 12 year old 15’2 chestnut Arab who does a bit of everything, hacking, dressage, cross country, camps, show jumping etc. He is not a novice ride as he can spook at ridiculous things, like a leaf, but he’s fine with tractors or lorry’s, he does spook at jump fillers sometimes (with a confident forward person he is less likely to do this)
I am looking for someone who likes to do a variety of things and not just plods around, must be a calm and kind person (he does not take well to abrupt people and not heavy handed as he is a sensitive sole) To do 2 possibly 3 days a week, Tuesdays/Thursday’s maybe every other Saturday, which includes keeping up his fitness, stables duties and must have at least one lesson a month with my instructor (this is a must). Minimal jobs required as mainly living out, riding is the most important thing!

I am looking for someone kind, confident and capable, with an interest in flat showing/ dressage, to ride my mare/part loan her.
She is not a happy hacker as is very spooky and anxious but she will hack in company but anyone wanting a hacking friend she is not the right pony for you. Having said that, I have boxed her to the beach/ Wickham railway line successfully but this would need her in plenty of work and with a good bond with her rider.
She is well schooled, having been professionally broken and schooled for several years and will crack out a prelim or novice test with ease. She’s a lovely ride in the school, who tries really hard and doesn’t really do anything untoward but some days is rather fiery and needs a lunge first.

She’s been to affiliated shows/ county shows inhand and ridden (New Forest, Royal Welsh, Three Counties etc). She has been to dressage champs, unaffiliated dressage, polework and flatwork clinics and these are all things she’d like to be doing again.
She’s never really jumped as has been aimed at flat ridden showing so would not suit anyone particularly interested in this. There is no reason she can’t jump but has simply not done it.

I have a 3.5t Horsebox to enable trips out and about. I also have an older ridden mare for companionship.

She is sweet in nature on the ground and very friendly and cuddly but can also be a bit fiery and do some airs above the ground when she’s fresh and coming in from the field.

She is at a small DIY yard in Durley with an arena that is not lit. She is available any days.
I have owned her since a weaned foal and she has a home for life with me. I think the world of her but sadly do not have the time to do her justice so want to find someone keen to get in a show ring and enjoy her.

Maximus is a beautiful 15,3hh, 8 years old, Welsh section D gelding.

I am looking for someone to keep maximus in work 2 - 3 times a week, whilst I'm on 6months rest from back injury.

Max is the most kindest, genuine boy, he has excellent ground manners, however when under saddle he is slightly green, typical 'welsh', he has his quirks.. Nothing out of spite but he's bit spooky and thrives off the confidence of the rider.
Therefore the rider must be experienced, very confident and lightweight.
Preferably someone with welsh experience.
Max has spent the last 3 years hacking alone or in company, he enjoys his job and is a comfortable fun ride. He has done some in hand and ridden shows and always does very well.

This last year he has been beginning in XC, jumping and again enjoys this but goes off the confidence of the rider as can shy from the jumps.
He has spent the season out hunting with the new forest bloodhounds and has took this in his stride, he loves this the most.

I have access to a small school on the yard however he prefers to go out hacking. We have direct access to the forest with short or long Miles of hacking, we also have quiet road hacking.

Some stable duties will be required and a contribution towards his keep.

Due to owner moving abroad Sonny will be looking for a foster mummy. He is 15hh and 6 years old. He is a great hack unflappable on the road with everything and anything. Sometimes a little bit cheeky as he is a young horse when asking for a canter in the field. He goes on the beach weekly, hacks the fields and xc track. We go around the estate often he’s just a big cuddly pony. Perfect to catch, shoe and all the rest of it. He enjoys hacking the most but his schooling is also coming along. I would prefer a person who similar to me, wants to mostly hack and go in the school now and again.

Putting the feelers out for a sharer for my lovely boy! I’m looking for a sharer for 3 days per week (ideally Monday, Friday and Saturday). He’s kept at Eastmoors in St Leonard’s and won’t be moving. The yard has a school, grass riding paddock in summer, and excellent hacking. There’s always someone lovely to hack out with!
Todd’s a 14.3hh Connie who’s just about to turn 20. Don’t let this put you off, he’s low mileage and still has many years left in him! Due to a past injury (10+ years ago), Toddy doesn’t jump, but he’ll hack/school/lunge/polework and I’m more than happy for someone to take him out to fun rides and compete him. He’s previously been working at Elementary/Medium at home and will go out and do a lovely test. He stands at the lorry all day long and travels brilliantly with or without company.
He’s super safe, though he isn’t a plod when ridden and will step up a gear if you fancy it, but is equally happy to pootle about on the buckle!
He lives out in the summer and comes in at night in the winter (October-April/May). He’s easy peasy, an absolute snuggle bug, and will come in as late as you like, with no worries about him being the last or first horse out!
He’s been picked up and put down over the last 9 months and has only been back in work for 7/8 weeks now. Therefore, he’s not currently completely fit but is well on his way to being fully back in work.
I’ll be looking for all chores to be done on the sharer’s days, and a small financial contribution to cover shoes. There are services offered at the yard if you’re unable to make both ends of the day in winter. There is also the option of more riding if I have a busy week/am away, at no extra cost (just chores).
He does have Cushings and is medicated daily, but you wouldn’t know and it’s very well managed. He does get cold and needs suitable rug changes to manage this in the winter.
I’m looking for someone over 18 who’s capable, sensible, reliable and lightweight (under 10.5st), who will love and enjoy him. He doesn’t deserve to be sitting in the field and I’ve finally accepted that with running my own business, I don’t have the time. He’s the love of my life and I will be fussy about who we take on, but he’ll give someone so much joy!
There will be a 2 week trial period, a full contract in place and you’re expected to have your own rider insurance.

Looking for a sharer for our fabulous 15.2hh cob mare, 12yo. Two days a week, mostly weekdays needed (particularly Wednesdays) but occasional weekend days possible. Based on a lovely friendly private yard in Titchfield, floodlit school on site and access to decent hacking (though some roadwork required).

Indie enjoys a bit of everything – hacking, schooling, groundwork, low-level dressage and jumping. Hacks alone or in company and there are usually people to ride with if you wish. Super friendly, lovely ground manners, loves a pamper and will stand all day to be groomed, bathed, etc, so looking for someone who’ll enjoy spending time with her on their days as well as riding. A safe and sensible ride, though will try her luck with inexperienced riders and can be strong when she gets excited! Possible opportunities to get out to shows, clinics, etc for the right person.

My Mum has run off with another man, so I am looking for a new Mum. Ideally you will be a confident rider who can help boost my confidence, particularly if we go out alone. I love hacking on the Forest, round the farm or going out round the village. I know about lateral work and watched videos of my famous father 🥇🥇and I want to canter like him. I live in Romsey where I am very well looked after. Yard has indoor/outdoor schools and onsite hacking. I have a lorry, but one of you would need to drive!
I have been a sicknote but lovely girl stuck a needle in, that caused Mum a sharp intake of breath 💷 and have been out of work for last few weeks so not as fit as I want to be. I like to think of myself as polite on the ground, I don’t bite or kick and am very chatty as I like to whicker to let you know I am thinking of you 🥕🥕

She is prefect for anyone looking for a happy hacker/something just to go out and have fun with as she has pretty much turned her hoof to everything from gymkhanas to dressage! That said she is unfit and hasn't done much for the last year due to having hock injections for arthritis and my work schedule so she will need bringing on a bit.

She is currently ridden twice a week low level hacking/schooling but I hope to increase this and all being well get back to competing (dressage).

I suggest hacking with company - she will go out alone but prefers company but there are plenty of people to ride with at our yard.
