Pragnells Pippin. Registered NF 4yo gelding. 13.3hh & will finish 14hh+Sire Pragnells Appletiser, Dam Sweetpea (Willoway Harry Potter).Pippin was a licensed stallion (gelded 6 weeks ago) & ran the forest last year.He is now ready for a new job & will make a good strong riding pony.Halter broken, ready to be backed & brought on over winter.Priced to sell now £3000.
I have owned Rocco 3 1/2 years , he has a really sweet “temperament, A lovely boy who is easy to handle & a clever character . I have done mainly hacking with him , schooling , ground /flat work & lots of lessons . Attended fun obstacle clinics , he was good at it & loved it ! He really enjoys his hacking & occasional flat work .He is brilliant to catch , shoe , clip. Up to date with dentist , injections & worming . Loads better in a truck than trailer. He has 3 lovely paces & a really comfortable canter. Schools & rides in an outline . He is a good doer & lives out 24/7, also , happy to be stabled for short period of times to suit ….. He suits a more relaxed way of life , he’s the same whether being ridden once , twice or alternate weeks or time limited . As with too much work when first owned he appeared tight in the back , however , manageable with physio ….. have got full vet history, can be discussed. Snaffle mouth , not strong or silly , No bucks or rears , more woe then go . He is happy In front , mid or behind. Good in traffic , seen a lot of trucks & farm machinery on country roads , just give him the space he needs. He would ideally suit someone looking for a second horse , Companion for younger horse …. Or with riding companions. He hacks a lone , but looks for competence in the rider , he doesn’t nap, not particularly spooky , (I did hack alone )However we got unlucky , he had good reason to spook & turn … on our own & being an older rider (50+) I feel we are not compatible & I’ve lost my confidence. Had absolutely no problems with riding companions. In the right hands you will get the best out of him , as I believe he is eager to please . So this is a really sad sale and the right , experienced home is a priority. £5,500Please click on links below for videos https://youtube.com/shorts/G4_BpvazYvc?feature=sharehttps://youtu.be/vV1IcdmCwk8https://youtu.be/Q4CvNKFTlgw
3 year old New Forest colt - (Is booked in to be castrated even though not stallion like at all) Just broken and has taken everything in his stride. Hacking out and not fazed by anything. Good little project for a younger rider or small adult. Haven’t measured but should make between 13’2 and 14’ as bum high, chunky head and legs and still growing. Will turn out and be stabled, very affectionate. I’m in no rush to sell as he’s a lovely little chap but price will increase the more I do with him so thought I’d put the feelers out now. 2k Ono - Home more important so a reasonable offer will be accepted
Bonny is an 11 year old 14 hh Welsh B part bred. She has been out of work for the past two years due to daughter moving away to university. Early this spring she suffered a bad abscess, has undergone X-rays and was on box rest. Bonny is field sound. Happy to discuss this further. She has previously done pony camp, clear rounds, dressage, been xc. Bonny can be nervous jumping so would need a confident rider to get the best out of her. Bonny goes beautifully on the flat and would make a great dressage pony for someone willing to slowly bring her back into work in the future and continue her education. Bonny is a sweet mare, stands for the farrier and good to handle on the ground but is alert can be nervous. Bonny up to date with teeth, vaccinations and worming.Sad sale due to time and change in circumstances, sold from field.Price negotiable as finding her a good knowledgable home, so open to discussion.
Portmore Rico ‘Rocky’ is a 4 year old NF gelding ‘leg in each corner’ type, standing at 14.2, bought from the sales unhandled as a 3 year old in May 2024, education wise he has had all tack and rider on being walked round the yard with no lead where he has been hoof perfect, but don’t have the facilities or time to work on him anymore, he has heaps of potential so is a very sad saleHe can be quite fearful of new people but is a big softie, because of this he has jumped around for the farrier but is improving each time and now getting near perfect, great looking pony ready for someone to put their own stamp on £4000
Meet Freya .Shes a very sweet natured girl who just needs someone who is going to put more work into her and who has a bit more time on their hands . She has previously raced however was too slow. Freya has quite a relaxed temperament however is like your usual TB and can be forward/strong so not a novice ride. She prefers company when hacking out and will school but needs a confident rider to get her going. She can be slightly stubborn with feet but doesn't kick just stomps. She's great with her teeth and ground manners. Really sad sale as she is a sweet mare with a very lovely character, but with work on my hands just haven't had time to put in the work she needs also lack of confidence. Looking for someone who will really love her and spend the time with her. Any other info and pictures/videos will be provided through whattsapp please .Up for 2.5k or near offer including tack and rugs.Thankyou
