Belle has only been in light work due to riders confidence issues. This is now being increased to return her to fitness ready for her next home.

Beautiful much loved 16.1 hh 6 year-old grey 1/2 Percheron available for purchase. He has been carefully produced by his breeder with good manners and his longevity in mind. He has hunted, gone on fun rides, shown, been to clinics, spent two summers in the New Forest hacking out alone and in company, competed at unaffiliated dressage and show jumping, and been schooled by a professional dressage rider for 6 weeks for each of the last three years. Counter canter and simple changes established this year. He won his last prelim class at dressage and currently is jumping clear rounds at 60 cm. He schools over higher jumps. He has been cross-country schooling. Enjoys jumping - never stops. He will take you into a fence. Does everything in a snaffle and plain nose band. He has a good mouth and 3 good paces. Lovely to ride not heavy in the hand. Safe to hunt, goes along with the field, and jumps all the jumps.
He prefers to hack out in company as he can spook or nap if he doesn’t like something when on his own. Val is a sweet horse who moves well, has a great attitude to work and has been learning to jump, showing himself to be very willing. He is ready to go out to some Prelim dressage and clear round SJ. Hacks alone or in company.

Florence is a 9 yr old 15.2hh dark bay thoroughbred mare, who has never raced but is ROR eligible.
She is a very sweet mare with good ground manners, doesn’t bite, barge or kick people, though she has been known to kick out at horses who get too close to her and appreciates space.
Good for the farrier and vet, good to clip without sedation, and loads easily with a lunge line, takes less than 5 minutes.
Travels well alone in trailer or lorry(due to weight restrictions on my car ) unsure if she’d be happy with others .
In the 4 years I have had her, she has been on many fun rides,the beach and competed in showjumping, including being placed at Hickstead last year. Has been to arena cross country and cross country hire.
She is brave showjumping to 80cm-90cm , however I do not feel that a competitive home will suit her, as she doesn’t seem to enjoy being pushed higher at competitions and during training.
Has also done some dressage but this isn’t something I wanted to pursue for myself.
For this reason,I would like her to go to a home with an adult or older teen rider, who is happy to hack her out (alone or in company) and focus on fun rides and low level jumping on rides at most. She may suit an endurance home or long distance rider. She does enjoy a little play around in the arena, especially bareback once she trusts her rider.

A very sad sale due to the closure of our riding school, unfortunately he just isn't big enough for me to keep for myself.

I bought Albie two years ago for our riding school, but it soon became obvious he was anxious about lots of new riders. We kept him just for me and one other rider for about six months then slowly introduced more riders.

I had completely lost my confidence jumping and he has completely regained my confidence, trotting in to everything with me. Saying that, he is not suitable for a complete novice as is very forward, but being used to thoroughbreds, he is just what I needed. He would be fantastic for a capable teenager as he is very talented and will go far. The two competitions I have done, I have come home with rosettes both times. We have also been to lots of clinics, camps, xc schooling etc.

He has now had many riders and is a firm favourite. Unfortunately he will not hack alone, but is a lovely hack with company in groups of any size. Brilliant with traffic. We know most of his past and can share this with anyone interested.

Buzz is a smart, eye-catching young horse with a lovely attitude and a great start to his education.

Owned since a yearling, his full history is known. He was started over the winter of 2025 before being given time to mature, returning to work in March 2026. He is an intelligent, willing horse who is quick to learn, with three balanced, uphill paces. He is working happily over poles and has started jumping small courses, including fillers, taking everything in his stride and showing a natural enjoyment for jumping.

Buzz has been to several local arena hires and out to clear round. He has also hacked alone and in company and has seen traffic and is stabled on a working farm so is used to large farm machinery.

Parish is being offered for sale solely because of my own health. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and my only wish is to find him the knowledgeable, loving home that he deserves.

Parish is an exceptionally handsome 18-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, standing approximately 16.3hh. He is fit, athletic, intelligent and has always thrived when he has a job to do. He has competed successfully in both dressage and showjumping, including at Forces Championships (last time 2022), and has been educated to a good standard throughout his life.

He is a bright horse who enjoys being mentally engaged. He learns quickly, loves routine and responds well to sympathetic, confident riding. He has many of the qualities people seek in a schoolmaster, while still being an intelligent Thoroughbred who appreciates a capable rider with feel and experience.

This is not a horse ready to spend his days quietly in a field. Now 18, he remains fit and enthusiastic and enjoys regular work. He would suit someone wanting a quality horse to school, hack, enjoy clinics, compete at riding club or affiliated level, or simply build a genuine partnership with. For that reason, I am looking for an experienced and sympathetic home rather than a novice rider.

This decision comes with a very heavy heart. Parish owes me nothing. Quite the opposite—he has taught me so much and has been a wonderful companion and was such a popular boy on the yard before I brought him home recently. My own health now means that I can no longer offer him the active life that he deserves, and I love him too much to let him become underworked and frustrated.

Cloud is a very easy going, gentle and kind horse, who is enjoying his chance at a second career.
He is riding well on the flat, with a level temperament, trainable brain and soft mouth. His paces are super rhythmical and balanced for his level of training. We have started his education over coloured poles and natural fences, proving genuine and honest.
Cloud hacks alone, and in company, in front or behind. Has led off of another horse in walk and trot out hacking. He has seen traffic and farm machinery, and again unfazed.
Easy to handle, good to do in the stable and tied on the yard, likes some cuddles and affection. Good with the farrier and has nice feet, shod all round. I have not clipped him but he was perfect with the trimmers on his bridlepath so can’t see that he would be a problem. Loads and travels well, standing patiently when we have stopped at the services or arrived prior to unloading.

Waffle has a history of a superficial tear to his digital flexor tendon. This was an injury that happened on the race track hence why he was taken off. It has since healed and doesn’t seem to be causing him any problems. The previous owner failed to give me any veterinary history. But he is absolutely sound in all 3 paces.

Because of his history, I am looking for a home that will take a sensible and careful approach to his fitness and workload. I am more than happy to be completely transparent and discuss his history honestly with serious enquiries!
