We are looking for a loving rider for our wonderful mare, Trixi, who has been an absolute superstar. She has been an amazing pony club companion for the past three years but has now sadly been outgrown by my daughter. Trixi is sweet-natured, well-mannered, and eager to please. She is responsive and forward but always has breaks, her potential is quite exciting. She is currently kept at Ashley Clinton Equestrian in New Milton, where she benefits from the lovely facilities, including a 60x40 arena and direct access to hacking routes to Barton Common and clifftop. We want her to remain at this yard for the time being. We are looking for a short term loan with the view to buy.Trixi enjoys a variety of activities, including hacking, schooling, groundwork, low-level dressage, and jumping. She is happy to hack both alone and in company and is an incredibly safe and sensible pony for an older child. She is also perfect on the lead rein but we want her to be ridden by an older experienced rider as well because she would get bored. She has no spook and is excellent in traffic, never pulling or getting strong. While she can occasionally nap in the arena, she is easy to get going with a confident rider and is forward-thinking without ever being too much to handle. She would be great in cross country or hunting as solid and bold but we haven’t done much of this. She is currently kept at Ashley Clinton Equestrian in New Milton, where she benefits from the lovely facilities, including a 60x40 arena and direct access to hacking routes to Barton Common and clifftop. We want her to remain at this yard for the time being. Full or part livery is available, on an as-needed basis.Trixi would be a fantastic pony for Pony Club activities, competitions, or general enjoyment, with an instructor on-site for support. The loaner would be responsible for covering the full costs of livery and pony care.We have loads of videos and photos and happy to share. If you’re interested or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to text, email, or WhatsApp.
I’m am desperate to find someone that understands my boy. He is loved so much but I’m unable to give him the right amount of exercise due to having a bad back. He is a true forester, that needs to be worked a lot to be good under saddle, otherwise he’s fresh. I can help with yard chores, holiday cover, any days that need cover if needed. I would ideally like him to stay at the same yard. Possible share with another 14.2 gelding at the yard if needed. The right person must be out there, that can commit.
Frankie (Duvel) is my beautiful retired Dutch warmblood eventer whom has been with us for several years. He is an enthusiast for love and attention and is looking for a home who can adore him and give him a friend. He will adore you back I promise! He is very easy to do in all ways, lives out with no shoes but loves coming in too. Never has he lifted a leg or done anything with malice, he can be playful and grab rubs/nip so his companion ideally would be a dominant horse. We retired Frank from his successful eventing carer 6 years ago after a nerve problem in his shoulder from birth meant the muscle around the shoulder could no longer support a rider. He does not have an even stride length in trot.A recent Trial of Eqnioxx for 6 weeks December 2024 / January 2025 showed no change in gait; suggesting pain is not a contributory factor to his lameness.Full veterinary history available, including a neurectomy in 2019 which again did not alter his lameness. He has been pampered and loved to bits throughout his retirement and he deserves this to continue. He needs a new home due to my parents selling our family home where he is now and he's on his own currently looking for a friend. Absolute 5* home only. Ideally Frank would stay local to Dorset so I can visit him. I'd also want to remain involved in decisions around his care. Happy to answer any questions!
Flo Fun 13hh grey Irish cob for loan.8yrs old. Flo is a cracking fun pony who has a super jump, turns on a sixpence and loves to hack. Hasn’t hunted but would make a great hunting pony. She has enjoyed beach rides. She’s not a novice ride or for a timid rider, as can be cold backed and sharp, so most suited to a small adult for fun or a gung-ho child that wants to get going. In the open she loves to get to friends and will need a strong rider to stop her going to them, but is not malicious. Hacking she is bomb proof and we have trusted her with complete novices. She has done lots of pony club, but flatwork and time in the school isn’t her thing. SJ and XC she loves!! She is pretty keen on PPC too.Snaffle mouth, will load on a trailer or lorry, sometimes can be a little reluctant but often tempted with food. Excellent manners on the ground and was used in a riding school with children doing all groundwork. Good to clip (child can do, but she needs sedating only for feathers), Great to shoe etc. Currently has fronts on but has been bare no problem.Lives in or out and can be in a mixed herd, hacks alone and in company, goes first or last. Up to date with all vaccinations and dentistry. She’s had the summer of 2024 off (due to new pony arriving), and is currently being brought back into work by a professional lightweight adult rider. Can be viewed in Plaitford. Please contact for more info. Happy for her to move yards but ideally in Hampshire, Wiltshire or Dorset, experienced homes only.Flo is a very much loved, fun, but quirky pony whose rewards are great but can match the challenges. A 5 star home is what she deserves.
Bea is looking for a loan ideally around 55Kg or under to ride her 3 /4 times a weeks, to hack or school her and give her some attention.Bea is the most lovely horse but has had 2 months off due to an injury last year so she just needed some time to rest but she is ready to get going again. When she is in full work she is the most amazing little pony she has taught me everything I know and just wants to please. Due to having 2 months off, Bea is currently feeling very excitable so needs someone who can sit a buck or 2 and kick her on due to her being keen to get back to work. I would love to keep riding her but I am too big for her. Bea would be perfect for someone to go out hacking, pop over a jump or 2 and potentially have a dressage lesson,She isn’t to go out competing though as she has been there and done it and at 18 years old she just doesn’t enjoy it. She MUST stay at our yard in Tiptoe / Sway ,And will only be on loan to the right person If you are interested message me on 07735668701
RockyApproximately 13.1h cob.16 years old. All rounder. Low level competing. Schooling well established. Jumps nicely. Loves hacking, goes out alone, would suit hunting, hacking, fun rides. Confidence giver. Not a spooky type. Not strong. Does not buck/rear/nap. Can be awkward/reluctant in school for novice riders. Has been used on lead rein & for beginners with support from experienced handler. Needs handling firmly as can be pushy/fidgety. Needs robust electric fencing. Good to clip/farrier/load. Good doer, barefoot. Ideal for confident teen/child or small adult. Might suit lead rein or beginner if support from experienced handler/rider. Full loan or for sale if right home.
Our much loved pony Carla is available for loan due to her rider going on to a competition pony. This is genuinely a very kind and sweet child's pony. Carla was purchased for my daughter after a very serious riding accident, my daughter loved her because she was kind and she felt safe on her. Since having her Carla has proved to be the most calm and gentle soul even to the smallest child. My son who has Downs Syndrome rides her and she is amazing. She will happily to take small children on lead outs but is equally fun and kind for a capable rider and will clear a course of 70cm jumps. Carla's main love appears to be hunting. Carla loves hacking and will go alone and in company, great to learn on in a school being steady and sensible but responsive to the leg. Carla has done PC, XC and SJ in addition to hunting. She has also tried mounted games and did not put a good wrong. Carla is so loved we would like her to stay at her current yard near Steventon in Hampshire. yard has a large outdoor arena and very good hacking. Carla can live out 24/7 but at current yard is out at night in winter and in during the day (opposite in summer).

This is Tyke, 13.3hh 8 y/o registered NF gelding. Unfortunately due to my height and commitments I am unable to give Tyke what he needs, time and exercise wise, and am therefore looking for a long term loan home - to be moved to loaner’s property. He has not been ridden since mid-July, so is very green at the moment.Tyke has huge potential, he hacks alone or in company comfortably, has competed at dressage and also popped over small jumps. He is so eager to learn and loves being busy. He has been clipped and shod and stands happily for these. He recently took a while to load, and will require practice, usually loads fine but I believe his recent resistance was due to infrequency.Tyke has been ridden by a young teenager, as well as a 12y/o, and would suit a small, kind, experienced rider who is confident, patient and willing to commit to helping him to reach his full potential. Some notes:- Tyke has recently undergone physiotherapy due to a hamstring injury. This is now resolved thanks to physio and a number of exercises. I would like this to continue whilst Tyke is on loan. Ideally 3 monthly physio and regular exercise.- He will come with all tack, and will require a saddle fitting using his current saddle immediately before ridden work begins.- Tyke has seedy toe which is clearing up nicely, his farrier is happy with the progress and has reassured me that this is not due to any underlying issues. He has antibacterial purple spray to apply to his foot.- He is shod on his fronts.- Teeth and vaccinations due in December.- Tyke is a good doer, being a new forest pony. This must be considered when turned out on grazing.I would like to visit Tyke regularly, so would like him to stay around the New Forest/surrounding areas.
Black Shetland mare, Shetland Society registered & passported, 9 years old, approx 34". Vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, trimmed, teeth done, etc. Excellent to catch, tie, groom and feet. She has been introduced to traffic and proven excellent so far. She has also begun lungeing & long reining, is getting used to the noise of a tyre dragging behind her, and has been bitted & worn a harness with a view to driving in the carriage shortly.Fini is a very people oriented pony, so she would like a person of her own that she can bond with. She has lived with smaller Shetland mares with no problems, but we think she would do well with larger ponies or horses, as she is very confident.Fini needs to go to a home where she will do something, rather than just be a field ornament, as she very much enjoys working and has a busy little brain. She will be a great driven pony. She would also be good for agility as she has proven very brave. She has lots of bone, good conformation & paces. She has shown only once at county level as a youngster, and placed highly, so could do very well showing. While she could be handled by children under supervision, we would like to find her a position for life, so do not want her returned due to being outgrown by a child or a child having lost interest. She is generally very well behaved and good to do, but does have quite a big personality, so would not be suitable for the nervous or novice.Fini has had mild laminitis once, so does need managing suitably – weight management, minimal grass and regular exercise, soaked hay, possibly muzzle, etc. She would be ideal to live with another pony who has previously had laminitis, and would be best in a laminitis experienced home. Due to her Shetland tendencies, she does need robust fencing that she cannot step through or over. Full information available to interested viewers. Fini will be loaned out with a full contract, a home visit, and we may ask for references.
15.1 registered fresian, 7 years old. I am looking for either a part loan or full lian. It’s more about finding the right fit for Gabriel. We are based in Hampshire.Gabriel came to us 2 years ago and has undergone kissing spine surgery in feb of last year, since has been fully rehabbed and professionally backed. Sadly I do not have the time to give him what he deserves. Gabriel is highly sensitive and is only suitable for an experienced, quiet, confident rider. Has 3 good paces in the school, but has only done minimal hacking. He really needs someone that wants to spend the time getting to know him and understands what he needs from his rider. He is very pretty so no dreamers or inexperienced people, he really would not be suitable for you!Happy to discuss options and more details. I have plenty of pictures and videos!
