Friendly, confident and people-oriented little cob mare who has just turned 3.
Measuring 12.3 now, but is bum-high and a stocky sort, so if I don’t find the right home, she’ll stay as I am an adult who rides ponies.
Looking for a similar like-minded home for her, I know that I don’t have the time to bring her on as I want to.
She’s very easy to catch, handle, regularly professionally trimmed, easy to worm when required - by mouth, and she has been properly supported throughout her early education so that she has a positive attitude to being tied up, led, touched absolutely everywhere, wearing “tack” and leaving her companions behind to go out on her own in hand.
She does have a past which I can talk through in detail. I bought her at 14 months old.
She is a friendly, confident little soul who appears to be easy, and is easy, because she’s willing and clever, but I don’t want her to be a quick product for someone. And that’s why I know that I don’t have the time to do the best for her with the pressure of working and other ponies to dedicate time to - so if I can’t do it for her then I won’t want a home where she’s going to be rushed.

3 year old colts an outstanding example to the breed and both registered.
I’ve owned them since they were tiny fluffy little dumplings and they have been the easiest companions I’ve ever had in all my years even though I was expecting them to be the naughtiest! They are really respectful of fencing and are happy wherever they are placed and whoever they are with, mares and geldings of all ages currently sharing with an old retired grumpy boy and even he loves them! They come running in the field and once they know its you they accept their head collars happily making them the first Shetlands I’ve ever been able to catch without ease!They live out 24/7 no rugs, are super cheap to keep but also happy to be stabled. Their lines have no carriers of laminitis, they are not the type to need restricted grazing. They have been bred with not only looks and colouring in mind but also careful thought and excellent health compatibility. They have won reserve champion in Wales as foals, just to add a bit of fancy to their CV.
They can be sold together or separately even though I’d love to see them go together!

Comic is a 12.2h 26 year old British riding pony! Please don’t let his age put you off.

He is very fit and healthy for his age, I have had comic for 13 years now, he was my second pony and I just simply never wanted to part with him! He has taught me loads and has attended pony club, competitions, fun rides, beach rides, etc. Comic definitely has a lot more to give and could go on to teach another child to ride! He has been out of work for a few years now but he is the kind of pony that you can just pick up where you left off.

Spirit is a 14.1hh standardbred, he has no recorded breeding as he is on a replacement passport. He is 5 years old and would make the most perfect project pony to either keep forever or sell on. Since being with me he has been broken in, taught all basic groundwork except long reining as he simply hates it. He is the sweetest boy on the ground however can be slightly nippy at times. He’s well mannered on roads, he can hack alone or in company, nothing really phases him. He’s solely up for sale due to no fault of his own other than I do not have the time for two horses alongside my job. This is a heartbreaking sale as I’ve taught him a lot in the year I’ve had him. He’s brilliant with clipping, loading, worming, farrier etc.

Dandy has taken my daughter from lead rein to confidently riding in all 3 paces in the school and on the forest and popping small courses.
However he really does not enjoy schooling and I feel he will be best suited to a hacking home for a child or small adult.
He is a fantastic, safe and reliable hack. Not bothered by any traffic. He is used to all things the new forest has to offer - pigs, cows, free roaming ponies and isn't bothered by crab flies. He is sure footed, goes through water, bogs and pops over logs without a fuss.

Meet Bubbles, a 19-year-young, 12.2hh pony with plenty of fizz left in the tank! Don’t let her age fool you — this little lady is super speedy, sharp, and always ready for fun.



Bubbles loves to jump and has a great scope, but she does like her jockey to ride her properly into a fence — no passenger riding here! She prefers to do everything at her own quick pace and is happiest when she’s busy and entertained.



Out hacking she’s an absolute star: She’s happy heading out alone or in company and is very sensible in open spaces.

If Bubbles is stood still for too long she will do very small little rears- barely noticeable and I think it’s her anticipated excitement.

She can be a bit mareish — no biting or kicking — she just doesn’t enjoy too much fuss and appreciates someone who understands her opinions. Once you respect her, she’ll give you her all.



Bubbles travels well and is happy going to shows, fun rides, clinics and outings. She’s available any day and would suit a confident, keen jockey who wants to have a blast on a fast, fun pony with personality.

I bought Pipsqueak (Pip) last year for my grandchildren to enjoy when they visit.
He was professionally backed and broken last summer and is quick to learn, but I now realise that I am not doing him justice and he really needs to go to a more experienced home with the opportunity to be brought on and enjoyed more widely. As far as I am aware he has no vices apart from being a very young horse at the beginning of his training.

14hh 7-year-old New Forest gelding. Ultimate all-rounder.

Since being with me, he has been used as an all-rounder and has done a bit of everything. He is a super pony with a cracking jump schooled at home up to 1m with scope to go higher, has competed up to 70cm and has always been in the ribbons. He is well schooled with three correct paces and does a lovely dressage test, He has been cross-country where he is bold and confident to a fence, been used regularly for Pony Club. He has been hunting, where he will happily go up front or stay at the back. He has also had a successful season showing. you name it he has done it the list could go on.

He is excellent out hacking and has seen pigs, cows, horses, etc. He has led my brother’s pony off him on hacks and is bombproof in heavy traffic. He hacks alone or in company, in front or behind. He is ridden in a snaffle, never strong, and is easy to handle on the ground. He has been handled by the whole family, including my novice mum. He can have the odd buck, so is not suitable for a complete novice.

He hacks well with other horses and is good in traffic. He is used to farm machinery and dogs. He can occasionally nap if not ridden confidently, so requires a confident rider. He would suit a confident teenager or small adult rather than a novice rider. He is snaffle mouthed.

He is good to catch, good to clip and good to trim with the farrier. He is up to date with dentist, farrier and vaccinations and has no known health issues.

He prefers living out 24/7 and can only live with geldings.

He is not keen on travelling but will travel in a 3.5 tonne fully open horsebox.

Approx. 11hh pony for sale. We’ve owned him for just over a year where he has mainly been used for hacking and very light schooling.

Sadly offered for sale as the children have completely lost interest, and we feel he deserves more than becoming a field ornament.

He would be best suited as a second pony, or as a first pony for a confident child. He has no nasty behaviour, although he can pull towards grass while hacking, which is why we feel a slightly more confident rider would suit him best.

He isn’t overly keen on schooling in the arena, so he would ideally suit a home where he can mainly hack, which is where he is happiest.

Panda is a lovely cob with a kind nature and an affectionate personality. He enjoys attention and forms a nice bond with his rider.

He is still green for his age but is willing and learns quickly. He has been schooled, attended a couple of local shows, done pole work and will pop a small cross pole or log out hacking. He hacks alone and in company and has done roadwork. He can become a bit excited when hacking as he genuinely enjoys it, so he does need a rider who is confident and calm.

Panda would suit someone experienced who is happy to continue his education and take their time with him. He would not be suitable for a novice rider due to him still being green and needing guidance.

He is barefoot, snaffle mouthed and currently lives out 24/7 but can be stabled without any issues. He loads and travels well and has been clipped with no problems.

This is a sad sale due to personal circumstances, so finding the right home is more important than price. He can come with tack, rugs and equipment if required.

Sweetest little 11hh welsh pony mare, 19yrs old, been in the same home for most of her life. Almost all history is known since she was a foal.

Looking for a non-ridden or companion home ONLY. As she has not been ridden for a number of years and has shown high hesitation when someone has been put on board as she’s gotten older, so ideally not looking for any riders for her.

Spice would be fantastic at in hand shows, loves attention and is great with kids and dogs, will stand to be groomed and scratched all day, can live out 24/7 unrugged with mares or geldings, has happily been stabled in the past.

Great to catch, lead, pick out feet, worm, rug, stand for the farrier, dentist etc.
Happy to be left in the field while others go out for a hack, respectful of electric fencing (but knows if it isn’t on).

Did have a bout of laminitis January 2025 when she was very overweight, but has worn a muzzle 24/7 over the last year and it has proven to be very manageable, as there has been no reoccurrences over summer last year or winter this year despite living out 24/7 on good grazing with a muzzle.

Yard is closing beginning of April and owner is unable to continue her care, so a quick turnaround is needed as only other option is to sadly pts.

Charlie is a really sweet, friendly boy I bought from a friend last year with a full on plan to break him to ride and drive but circumstances have changed and I think it’s only fair to find him a home that has the time to put into him as he’s definitely ready for a job. He has been a companion to geldings and has been happy to be left alone while the others are ridden. He currently lives with my mare and has become a bit clingy to her (not helped by her being a massive flirt) so would recommend a home with other boys or a mixed herd.

He moves beautifully and will make a cracking little show pony for someone. Will stand quietly to be groomed and fussed, he absolutely loves a cuddle.

Stabled at night for the first time this year and he has got used to coming in through the winter and bad weather and settles nicely. Previously he was out 24/7 so would equally be happy to live out.

We did start work with him last year with the saddle but he’s not done anything since due to time and lack of suitably sized jockey so he is sold from the field as a blank canvas. Wormed and has passport.

Dave is a lovely 15-year-old a full up New Forest x Welsh Cob x Appaloosa gelding, standing around 14–14.2hh looking for a new home where he can enjoy life and get out doing what he loves most – hacking and fun rides.
Dave’s favourite job is hacking, and he would really suit a hacking home, or possibly a mother/daughter share. He hacks alone or in company, although he can be a little more forward-going when out with others. He also jumps, but is still green in the school for his age and can be a bit lazy in the arena and sometimes quite lazy all round .
He has a kind temperament, is a total softy who loves attention, and is good with children. Once he gets to know his rider he can be a little sharp, so he would suit someone with some confidence who enjoys getting out and about rather than focusing on schooling.
Dave is easy to do in all ways:
Good with the farrier (currently unshod but can be shod)
Good to clip
Stables well but lives but lives out
Prefers to live in a herd or with company around him
