Storm
Looking for her new 🏡
7 year old mare, 11’3hh

We have had storm 5 months, she was sold to us as a first ridden/lead rein for my 8 year old but it’s clear she needs to be in regular work ideally by someone more experienced in order for her to cope with little riders & I don’t have anyone small enough.

Storm needs a confident, capable rider, at the moment she isn’t suitable for a Novice or small child, she needs someone that can bring her on and show her the ropes, she’s green in the school, has done some jumping in her previous home, including arena hires, and cross country but not with us. Storm prefers hacking , this is where she seems the most relaxed and enjoys herself she hasn’t done anything silly out hacking & my 8 year old has hacked her on and off the lead rein in walk and trot.

Storm can be quite nervous with new people & has taken time to settle, she can put in the occasional nip but this becomes less the more she gets to know you, she loves a groom and fuss and will stand for ages my 8 year old can do this with her, good for farrier has front shoes.
We have put in a lot of groundwork with storm including long reining, lunging etc.

Storm has high showing potential and has very flashy movements! Endless possibilities with the right owner. I truly believe that with the right owner Storm will be a fantastic pony for showing, pony club and all other activities, we just don’t have the time.

Three year old Buckskin Welsh Section D mare to make 14.2.

Blossom is a beautifully bred mare with the presence and movement to excel in the show ring or as a future dressage prospect.

Her sire, Cynheidrefawr Creme de la Creme, is a successful dressage pony stallion currently competing at Inter I and training towards Grand Prix.

Her dam, Haighmoor Gwenllian (by Fronarth Victor), has enjoyed an outstanding career in both showing and dressage, with her most notable win being Ridden Champion at the Royal Welsh.

Blossom attended several local and county-level shows as a yearling, always behaving impeccably with a calm, mature attitude.

Poppy is being sold as a 2nd pony. Would do amazingly at being a pony club pony. She has speed and very good breaks. She has been used as a first pony for my daughter and was a gem and then came off the lead rein but was a little too strong for her. Could be a first pony for a child with lots of confidence. Poppy is wonderful out on roads, had helicopter go over, cars, bus, lorries, motorbikes go past and never fussed. She is lovely in the sandschool and pops over small jumps and loves having a job to do.

Good for farrier, loading in trailer, kids groom her, catch her from field and lead her around. Always comes to greet you at the gate. Happy to go out alone or with others, front or back.

Never been nasty, kicked, bucked or reared.

Lives out during summer and in at night over the winter.

Had ulcers when we got her and this was treated and scoped to check cleared. Now on ulcer feed and had no problems and is such a happy pony.

Myrtle is the sweetest most loving mare. She absolutely loves to be fussed over and pampered by children.
She is very steady polite ride. She is happy on or off the lead but I would say prefers lead rein. Due to her age she can still be a little green off the lead but very sensible head on her. She happily goes over poles and isnt phased by much at all. Myrtle loves to hack, brilliant in big open spaces, with all kinds of traffic, other horses. She lunges and long reins nicely

Giddy is a pony who loves to work, he is never happier than when he is busy and active, and sadly a change in family circumstances means I no longer have the time to give him the work and the outings he requires. I have owned Giddy since a 2yo, and this is an extremely sad sale

He has turned his hoof to many disciplines including show jumping, WHP, XC, beach and fun rides and dressage, riding club, pole clinics etc. I feel he has untapped potential in WHP classes as he is bold and brave over a fence. He has only jumped at unaff/training stakes level with us as we are not jumping people, so is still eligible for novice WHP classes.

He is fabulous to hack both alone and in company, not fazed by anything, and is frequently used as a nanny to the younger ponies. Forward going in the school

He has been lightly shown over the years but has notched up some good wins at Fell pony breed shows, including being ridden champion and reserve supreme as a novice at the Dorset Fell show, Ridden reserve champion and reserve supreme at the Dunster Fell Show, and the following year (2023) ridden champion and overall supreme. He has also had some good wins at NPS area and agricultural shows in open and junior classes

He has only had a couple of outings the last two years through no fault of his own. He has a zest for life, loves to work and with that can come some over exuberence if he is not worked for a while, so therefore he needs a competent and confident rider to bring out the best in him, which I think is yet to come.

He will not be suitable for novices, beginners or small children. A home with previous experience of owning and riding native ponies would be
preferable. The right home is of utmost importance, and he is priced extremely reasonably so that home can be found

Frosty is a 4 year old Welsh Section A, dapple grey gelding, standing at 11.1hh.
He is by the fabulous Uphill James Fox.

Frosty is only for sale as he has been sadly outgrown too soon - my son grew taller, faster!

We have brought Frosty on slowly and sympathetically.
Frosty lunges (with full tack, pool noodles, carrot sacks) and he long reins nicely.

He walks over tarpaulin and other obstacles
He loves jumping and is jumping a variety of fillers on the lunge and led.

Reggie is a big beautiful black full up 14.2hh (still growing so may make around 15hh) welsh D colt with 4 even white socks and a nice big blaze. This substance, quality and bone on this horse is super. He has 3 correct paces, lunges, long reins and has been sat on and ridden up and down the yard.

He has been turned out with another colt since they were 6 months old and he is stabled next to my other stallion and been in a field next door solely split by electric fencing. He’s super and respectful with good manners although can be a little pushy at times but this is just babyness, doesn’t take much to put him back in his box. He’s good for the farrier, vet, clippers, loading, dentist etc. easy to do in all ways.

He is basically a giant golden retriever who loves fuss and attention. He’s been handled, groomed and bathed by kids. You couldn’t ask for a more loveable pony.

Now, the down side is that Reggie’s feet weren’t maintained the best growing up which meant he was toed out when I bought him. He was coming up short in front so decided to do a lameness work up. This led to X-rays and MRI and he had terrible foot balance and slight puffiness to his coffin joints. We have done some remedial trimming and he has thin pads and wider heeled shoes in front and barefoot behind which have made all the difference. He is now sound and continuing with some basic education. Vet mentioned on steroid injections in his coffin joints but as he is sound as is we have chosen not to for the time being. Sadly this is something that is going to need to be maintained and kept on top of with regard to farrier and work but if looked after appropriately he will be the most phenomenal ridden pony. All reports and MRI & X-ray images are readily available to anyone interested.

He has full trot up, lunge and free schooling videos pinned to the top of my Facebook!

She has done pony club camps, rallies, riding club, eventing, showjumping, hunter trials, dressage, arena eventing, loves a beach ride, unaffiliated competitions and will generally give anything a try. She's competed at Pony Club Regional Championships and Sunshine Tour Championships.
Cally enjoys jumping and has previously competed at 90cm. She has recently stepped down to 70/80cm to suit her rider and I would say this is a good jumping height for her. She is forward going but not strong and suits a confident rider as she gains confidence from her rider.

She's good to hack alone and in company (we hack her most days), can be a bit 'looky' but always safe and good in traffic/ tractors etc.

13.3h 5 year old new forest pony.

I am genuinely so sad to be posting this advert for this gorgeous boy. We have had Bertie since he was a foal but unfortunately he has not quite make the height I needed and my circumstances for continuing his education have significantly changed.

Bertie has been a joy to start , he is very intelligent and learns new things very quickly without any stress .

Bertie has been started but definitely not completed. I have gotten him to the stage of walking and trotting around the field (only once) this last April so he needs someone to continue his education to get him to his full potential.

The only thing I haven’t done with him is any trailer training. He has been in the trailer 4 times and traveled loose in the box without much fuss.He is a quick learner so I don’t think this would be an issue for him when someone teaches him the traveling ropes!

Bertie is good with the farrier , the vet, good with traffic, good to catch, loves fuss and will follow you around all day.

He really will make someone a super little pony.
